Photoshop Projects

  For this project I used the gradient tools just to make the colors by using it over and over. Then I used the text mask to put my name over the gradients to make the letters have the gradients.

 For this project I first increased the opacity on both ONW and the compass. Then I dragged them onto the image of the school. Then I changed the blending mode to make it look softer. I also used the magic eraser to get rid of the white areas in the compass.

 On the monarch first I changed the colors of the wings to make them darker on the bottom and make it get lighter towards the top. Then I used the clone stamp tool to add three more layers of the wings to make it look like the wings were moving.

 First in this project we used the content aware fill to get rid of the light pole near the tree. Then I blended part of the wall to make it look normal. Then I put the raven in there and turned down the opacity. Then I put all the other images in the raven and used the mask tool to make it fit the shape of the raven's head.

First, I made the blue to black gradient representing the ONW colors. Then I used the text mask tool to put NORTHWEST over a picture of the school. Then I used a blending mode that made the sky look way brighter.

My Logo and Logo Ideas

I started with coming up with ideas on the paper. When we got to Illustrator, I tried to make the one in the top right corner. When I made it on illustrator, I didn't really like it, but then i tried to put a circle behind it and it made it look a lot better. In illurstrator i learned how to use some more of the tools, like the rotation tool, and I also learned how to select more specific colors. Next time I would remove the stroke on the circle and the letters, and I would keep the colors because I like them. I will use more of the tools I learned about in the future.

It is important for companies to use the right colors because colors can attract certain groups of people. The colors could also give the wrong look for the product that they want to sell, and the color could make the product look worse than if they would have had another color.

Red: Danger, Warning, Love, Power

Green: Nature, Recycling, Sickness, Envy

Blue: Water, Weather, Peaceful, Loyalty 

Black: Dark, Evil, Submission, Religion

White: Light, Purity, Neutral, Surrender

Purple: Royalty, Wealth, Romantic, Femininity

Yellow: Happy, Bright, Concentration, Overpowering

Orange: Social, Cheery, Spooky, Independent

Color Psychology Information

Logo Color Use

The Burger King logo is representing a burger because the way the words are and how they're colored makes it look like a burger. It uses red, yellow, and blue. It falls under the triad color scheme because they are all the primary colors. I think the company uses the colors because they are attractive colors, and they make the logo look like a burger.

Chase Scene

While filming this video i learned how to make better cuts and I also learned how to put in the special effects (like the star wars credits). I also learned how to make a clip slow-motion and do a freeze frame.
2. What will you apply to your next project?
I will apply the special effects and slow motion effects in a future video.
3. How was collaboration different in this project from the last two projects?
Collaboration was different in this project because there were more things you could do in a chase scene than in the 6 shot sequences, so we had more ideas. It was also different because it was harder to film a chase scene to get it just right.
4. How could you improve collaboration in your next project?
We could improve by agreeing on each others ideas more, and trying to use the all.

6 Shot x2 Project

1.What did you learn?
I learned some more stuff on working with the camera and the tripod. I found out how you can lean the tripod and fold the tripod legs and stuff to get different angles that look the best.I also found out you can zoom in and out on the camera. I also further earned how to edit and make the things look good.

2.What will you apply in your next project?
 I will apply the music from ismfilms. com and I will use the new camera things I found out like getting different angles and zooming and stuff. Also I will apply collaborating with our future groups because we did a good job in this project with my group.

3.Define Collaboration- How did this apply to your project/group?
Collaboration in our group was working together and all using our ideas to make one video. It was also getting along with each other and cooperating.

The six shots are Extra close up, the close up of the hands. Over the shoulder, which shows what the person is doing. Close up of the face, Which is a close up of the face. Medium shot, show the person from the hips and up. wide shot shows what the person is doing but not the entire scene. Extra wide shot Sets the whole scene. I leaned alot of things about filming like getting the right angles and the best shots for the scene. I Will apply the music and sounds to a future video.

Battlefield 4 Highlight Video

While making my video I used a lot of tools in Final cut pro. One of the ones I used the most was the Blade tool to cut the video segments. Using that helped fit the videos into the 2 minutes, and it helped with mixing the clips up and making it look cool. Also probably my favorite part was picking the different transitions and putting them in between the clips because it made it look a lot better.My favorite transition was the one where it blurs the screen then switches to the next one. It made it look really cool in my opinion. I chose Battlefield 4 to make my video because its easily my favorite video game and I play it a lot when I have free time. Its important because I love playing it and its a great game. I love to play it with my friends whenever they come over.
