My Sketchup House

Thes scope of the project was to learn how to design and animate a dream house. My process was first designing the floor plan and then just going from there, putting the roof and windows with textures on them. Along the way I learned how to pretty much use all the tools and the ways to do things efficiently. What I would do differently next is make it "less plain". In the end though, I like m house and how it turned out.

My E-comm Animation

The scope of the project was for us to learn how to make a stop motion animation in Keynote. I started my project by thinking of a story and putting it on a storyboard. Then I started making it in keynote with the base setting and the characters. Then I continued to finish it and then I added all the details it needed to look good. Then in iMovie, I converted different sounds and songs from youtube to add them into my animation.

The things that I learned were how to use Keynote, because this was my first time using it. I learned the different tools and keys in order to make it easier for me. Professionally, I learned how to complete the project on time and made it look good.

Things I would do differently would be to put more color in the backgrounds of the opening scenes. Things I would do the same is the editing and adding in the sound effects. I will used the things that I learned to make my next animation even better.

Photoshop Projects

  For this project I used the gradient tools just to make the colors by using it over and over. Then I used the text mask to put my name over the gradients to make the letters have the gradients.

 For this project I first increased the opacity on both ONW and the compass. Then I dragged them onto the image of the school. Then I changed the blending mode to make it look softer. I also used the magic eraser to get rid of the white areas in the compass.

 On the monarch first I changed the colors of the wings to make them darker on the bottom and make it get lighter towards the top. Then I used the clone stamp tool to add three more layers of the wings to make it look like the wings were moving.

 First in this project we used the content aware fill to get rid of the light pole near the tree. Then I blended part of the wall to make it look normal. Then I put the raven in there and turned down the opacity. Then I put all the other images in the raven and used the mask tool to make it fit the shape of the raven's head.

First, I made the blue to black gradient representing the ONW colors. Then I used the text mask tool to put NORTHWEST over a picture of the school. Then I used a blending mode that made the sky look way brighter.

My Logo and Logo Ideas

I started with coming up with ideas on the paper. When we got to Illustrator, I tried to make the one in the top right corner. When I made it on illustrator, I didn't really like it, but then i tried to put a circle behind it and it made it look a lot better. In illurstrator i learned how to use some more of the tools, like the rotation tool, and I also learned how to select more specific colors. Next time I would remove the stroke on the circle and the letters, and I would keep the colors because I like them. I will use more of the tools I learned about in the future.

It is important for companies to use the right colors because colors can attract certain groups of people. The colors could also give the wrong look for the product that they want to sell, and the color could make the product look worse than if they would have had another color.

Red: Danger, Warning, Love, Power

Green: Nature, Recycling, Sickness, Envy

Blue: Water, Weather, Peaceful, Loyalty 

Black: Dark, Evil, Submission, Religion

White: Light, Purity, Neutral, Surrender

Color Psychology Information

Logo Color Use

The Burger King logo is representing a burger because the way the words are and how they're colored makes it look like a burger. It uses red, yellow, and blue. It falls under the triad color scheme because they are all the primary colors. I think the company uses the colors because they are attractive colors, and they make the logo look like a burger.

Chase Scene

While filming this video i learned how to make better cuts and I also learned how to put in the special effects (like the star wars credits). I also learned how to make a clip slow-motion and do a freeze frame.
2. What will you apply to your next project?
I will apply the special effects and slow motion effects in a future video.
3. How was collaboration different in this project from the last two projects?
Collaboration was different in this project because there were more things you could do in a chase scene than in the 6 shot sequences, so we had more ideas. It was also different because it was harder to film a chase scene to get it just right.
4. How could you improve collaboration in your next project?
We could improve by agreeing on each others ideas more, and trying to use the all.
